Gyokuro Green Tea (Per Oz)Gyokuro is considered the pinnacle of Japanese loose leaf green tea. It is shaded just like Tencha, which prevents the conversion of savory amino acids into more bitter catechins. The result is an incredibly savory, brothy tea, often with even more umami than matcha! Our Gyokuro is grown without pesticides or artificial fertilizers, and has notes of parsnip, tomato vine, and Kombu. It is grown in Wazuka and made from the Yabukita cultivar.
